We are a source of knowledge with an awesome responsibility to support our community's health and wellness. From supporting your neighbors in their efforts to quit smoking, to helping kids foster good life-long habits, we're honored to provide community outreach programs to help our neighbors enjoy greater wellness as we work toward building a stronger, healthier community.

Community Education Programs to Help Everyone

Embrace a Life of Whole Health

A healthy, vibrant life means something different to every one of us. That’s why at AdventHealth, formerly Shawnee Mission Health, we offer a variety of community health education resources that make wellness simple, whatever your goals. Our elderly and underprivileged neighbors can access free services like health-care education, special clinical and non-clinical programs, and spiritual resources. Community members in and around the Kansas City area are also invited to join our free or low-cost classes and support groups. It’s all part of our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ to all those around us.
