Thomas M. Shimshak, MD, is a board-certified Cardiologist with a subspecialty in Interventional Cardiology and Coronary and Peripheral Vascular Disease. Dr. Shimshak earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin where he also completed his residency and subsequent fellowships. He has a number of professional affiliations and academic appointments and has been in clinical practice since 1988. Dr. Shimshak has also been a physician trainer and proctor in a broad range of cardiovascular areas, sits on a variety of advisory boards and is a key participant and author in research projects and publications regarding heart disease.
