As a child, Donald Geldart, MD, developed a strong calling to care for others. It's this calling that's guided his work as a family medicine provider, and that's helped him become known for his commitment to serve his patients and community.
He believes the most important aspect of a doctor-patient relationship is trust. That’s why when you come to him for care, he'll always treat you with the focus and compassion he would want for his own family.
Dr. Geldart has over 50 years of experience in emergency, occupational, geriatric and addiction medicine. He specializes in emergency medicine, serving as medical director at Highlands County Medical Services, Highlands County Sheriff’s Department, Hardee County Sheriff’s Department and Tri-County Human Services.
To keep busy during his time away from work, Dr. Geldart is an antique car enthusiast and active volunteer with the Sebring International Raceway. He also enjoys camping, boating and traveling.
