Antibiotic Stewardship Program Honor Roll

AdventHealth Redmond is proud to announce that its Antibiotic Stewardship Program (ASP) has beenawarded platinum level status in the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Antibiotic Stewardship Program Honor Roll. This prestigious designation underscores the facility’s commitment to excellence in antimicrobial stewardship and reflects its dedication to providing high-quality, safe patient care.

AdventHealth Redmond is proud to announce that its Antibiotic Stewardship Program (ASP) has beenawarded platinum level status in the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Antibiotic Stewardship Program Honor Roll. This prestigious designation underscores the facility’s commitment to excellence in antimicrobial stewardship and reflects its dedication to providing high-quality, safe patient care.

The Platinum Level status builds on AdventHealth Redmond's previous achievement of Gold Level recognition in 2018 and marks a significant milestone in the team’s continued efforts to enhance patient outcomes through responsible antibiotic use. This award serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the ASP/Antimicrobial Program (AMP) team, who have implemented effective antibiotic stewardship practices that contribute to patient safety and overall health.

The ASP/AMP team, led by physician leads John Hostetler, MD, Ricardo Postigo, MD, FACP, AAHIVS, and Peter Richards, MD, along with pharmacy leads Komal Patel and Brianna Qualls, have diligently worked to meet the Georgia Department of Public Health’s rigorous standards. This honor not only highlights their expertise but also represents AdventHealth Redmond’s dedication to supporting patient well-being through thoughtful antibiotic use.
