Leslie Hinds, NP

Leslie Hinds, AOCNP, is an advanced oncology nurse practitioner serving adult patients in the Denver metro area. She treats blood disorders and most cancers and is skilled in bone marrow biopsies and transplants.

Leslie was originally drawn to oncology after her aunt died of cancer, and she has since cultivated a passion for oncology care. Seeing patients over years allows her to build meaningful relationships, and keeping up with ever-changing treatment recommendations fulfills her desire to keep learning.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from the University of Wyoming and completed a master’s degree with a family nurse practitioner focus at Texas Woman's University.

Leslie is an awarded nurse practitioner, having earned a Nursing Excellence Award for Relationship-Based Care. She is also a member of multiple professional medical organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Oncology Nursing Society and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology.

When she’s not seeing patients, Leslie enjoys spending time with family, attending live theater productions, crocheting, reading and vegetable gardening.

Leslie is on a mission to provide compassionate care to each of her cancer patients and everyone around her. She values building lasting relationships and providing whole-person care that heals the body, eases the mind and lifts the spirit. Together with a full medical oncology team, she works to deliver the best possible cancer care to each patient.
