PALM COAST, Fla., June 9, 2017 On June 4, nearly 125 volunteers joined Florida Hospital Flagler for a beach clean-up along Flagler Beach.
It was wonderful to see so many give up their time on Sunday for such a good cause. Many families were there with their children to teach them the importance of keeping our environment beautiful, said Carey Girouard, Florida Hospital Flagler switchboard operator and beach clean-up organizer. We picked this weekend because we suspected there would be an abundance of debris after Memorial Day and we ended up filling 25 large bags of garbage!
