Help Others Heal

When you support AdventHealth Palm Coast, formerly Florida Hospital Flagler, you’re helping bring hope and healing to people right here in your Flagler County community. As a non-profit hospital, we rely on generous donations to help us purchase new medical equipment, support our hospice program, and enhance our patient services, among other initiatives.

With every gift, we’re expanding our vision, improving our level of care, and bringing health and healing to more patients than ever before. Donate to AdventHealth Palm Coast, volunteer at our hospital, or attend a fundraiser to help us extend the healing ministry of Christ by serving and lifting others. Together, we can do something truly incredible.

About the Foundation

The AdventHealth Palm Coast Foundation and the AdventHealth Hospice Care East Florida Foundation have helped to support our hospital and our hospice care by raising funds that help us improve and expand our approach to health care. We do this by partnering with generous community leaders to create legacies like the Judith C. Macko Cancer Resource Library and the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House.

Through our guiding principles of faith, integrity, compassion, respect, and stewardship, we’re constantly seeking to raise awareness of health issues, minister to the people of our community, and lift our patients and employees.

Help us Enhance the Patient Care Experience at a Free Standing Emergency Room

A 12-bed free standing Emergency Room and medical office building will be built (breaking ground later this year) in the Matanzas Woods area.  Our Foundation is working to identify “support opportunities” to enhance the patient care experience at this location; more information in the coming months.

Donate to Pet Peace of Mind

Many hospice patients worry about their pets — which is why we created the Pet Peace of Mind initiative. By donating to or volunteering with Pet Peace of Mind, you help pets whose owners are in hospice care — providing them with food, financial assistance, transportation to grooming or veterinary care, boarding, walking, and more.

Leave a Legacy or Make a Planned Gift

Create a legacy. Consider leaving us a bequest in your will or making a deferred gift. Do it in honor of a loved one, or simply to give back to your community. Our Planned Giving Resources give you all the information and tools you will need to develop a working knowledge of gift planning that will prove useful when you talk to your Estate Planning Professional.

Volunteer at Our Hospital

Give of your time and make a difference where it truly counts. Our hospital volunteers come from all walks of life — former professionals, school teachers, secretaries, homemakers, business executives, accountants. As a hospital volunteer, you will help care for and comfort patients and family, and assist staff as they care for patients.

Opportunities for volunteering include:

  • Cancer Resource Center
  • Emergency Department
  • Food and Nutritional Services
  • Information Desk
  • Laboratory
  • Mail Room
  • Nursing Stations
  • Pastoral Care
  • Patient / Visitor Services
  • Surgical Services
  • Tiny Treasures Gift Shop
  • Transport

The training application process generally takes between four and six weeks. For volunteers ages 15 to 18, we offer a special teenage hospital volunteer program.
