Community Open House at The Free Clinics Showcases AdventHealth Medical Group Innovative Care Center

N.C., Hendersonville, NC (October 17, 2019) — AdventHealth is dedicated to meeting the health care needs of our communities. This commitment to whole-person care – body, mind and spirit, is leading to expanded access to free care for the underserved members of our communities at AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Flat Rock.

This innovative care center is one part of a Duke Endowment Grant that was awarded to AdventHealth Hendersonville, The Free Clinics (TFC) and Safelight, Hope & Healing for Families. Located inside The Free Clinics building at 841 Case Street, this center includes primary care, obstetrics/gynecology care and behavioral health. AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Flat Rock is available to all persons and our care teams are welcoming new patients.

On Thursday, October 24, we invite the community to a special open house event. You will be able to tour the facility and meet the AdventHealth physicians and providers who offer care at this center. We will have members of the AdventHealth team, Safelight and The Free Clinics available to share more about this innovative access to care and the development of the Phoenix Project, a care model for victims of trauma also funded through this grant.
