AdventHealth Hendersonville Announces New Director of AdventHealth Home Care Western North Carolina

Hendersonville, NC (May 7, 2019) — AdventHealth Hendersonville is excited to announce it has named Krystin Littleton, BSN, RN as the new Director of AdventHealth Home Care Western North Carolina. Littleton brings a diverse experience base to AdventHealth that includes patient care, leadership and quality process improvement.

Littleton earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Western Carolina University in 2009. Littleton has been serving with AdventHealth Hendersonville’s Home Health since 2013 and has held the position of Patient Care Supervisor, RN Case Manager and most recently Nurse Manager of Clinical Operations. In total, Littleton has more than a decade of direct patient care.

Krystin says the atmosphere and mission at AdventHealth Hendersonville is what makes her proud to be part of the AdventHealth Community. “Our mission is more than just words. This group truly cares and supports each other. Our patients know and feel this each and every day,” says Littleton. “Home Health is a special field. We are in the homes not just caring for patients but for their families as well. Our goal is to help them become as independent as possible in their home which is what most people want. I am excited to be Director and to have the opportunity to grow our business and to continue to take care of this special population.”

“We have seen a steady increase in the need for comprehensive home health care across the communities AdventHealth Hendersonville serves. Krystin’s compassionate care approach and administrative experience make her an excellent choice to move into this new role of Director for this team,” said Roland Joy, AdventHealth Hendersonville, Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Clinical Services. “We are excited to have her leading this team as we expand access to the AdventHealth whole-person, home health care to people across Western North Carolina.”

When she is not caring for patients, Littleton enjoys spending time with her family, getting outside in the mountains, and going to the beach. She also enjoys being part of her church community. When asked what makes her “feel whole,” she responded with, “Any time spent with my husband and daughter. Family is the most important thing.”
