AdventHealth Celebrates Volunteers Dedicating Thousands of Hours to Our Community

Hendersonville, N.C. (May 1, 2019) — AdventHealth Hendersonville recently celebrated the incredible team of volunteers who help spread its mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ to people coming to the hospital and other facilities. AdventHealth celebrated this incredible group of people for their dedication to our patients, guests and staff at our Annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet in April.

“AdventHealth is known by its mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ through whole-person care – mind, body and spirit. That exceptional experience is made even stronger through the dedication of our wonderful volunteers who support our team members by caring for people on their journeys to feel whole,” said Jimm Bunch, AdventHealth President and CEO.

“The members of the AdventHealth Hendersonville Volunteers Services team are dedicated to the various roles they play, each a vital part of the experience that makes AdventHealth the exemplary choice for care in Western North Carolina,” said Shelby Lands, AdventHealth Volunteer Coordinator.
