Diya K AlNajjar, MD

Diya K. Al-Najjar, MD, is a board-eligible general surgeon. Dr. Al-Najjar is deeply committed to the care of all his patients and honored by the privilege to help them restore their whole health through expert surgical care. He treats patients ages 18 and up.

Dr. Al-Najjar earned his medical degree at the University of Aden in Yemen in 2006; he completed his residency in general surgery at Al-Basheer Medical Center, Ministry of Health in Amman, Jordan in 2012 and is currently a general surgery resident at HCA Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Florida. Along with providing his patients with exceptional care, Dr. Al-Najjar loves spending time with family and playing chess and soccer. He also enjoys traveling — especially to Italy, Barcelona and Egypt — and loves Middle Eastern and Italian food. He is fluent in English, Arabic and German.
