Biography

Called to work in the field of cancer care, William Tong, MD, fulfills his passion for serving others every day by providing expert, compassionate help to patients and their families when they need him most.

He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, completed his residency in radiation oncology at McGill University in Montreal and his fellowship training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He is also a board-certified radiation oncologist by the American Board of Radiology and is the medical director of the AdventHealth Harris Radiation Therapy Center. He has published his research in several peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology.

When he isn't working with patients, Dr. Tong enjoys staying active outdoors by hiking, swimming, curling, boating, fishing, traveling and water sports such as rowing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding.

He speaks English, French, Cantonese and Spanish.
