VOLUSIA/FLAGLER COUNTIES, April 5, 2016 Shawn Simpson has been promoted to assistant director of practice operations for Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners, the employed group of physicians for the Florida Hospital East Florida Region, which encompasses the six Florida Hospitals within Volusia and Flagler counties.
Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners consists of more than 150 physicians, including both primary care physicians and specialists, and enjoys a mutual partnership with Florida Hospital based upon the close alignment of the hospitals mission and values.
Simpson has been with Florida Hospital for 14 years and most recently served as a physician practice manager. In her new role as assistant director of practice operations, she will be responsible managing the administrative needs for the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners physicians at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center.
An Ormond Beach resident, Simpson is a certified medical office manager.
