Gary Pitts, MD

Gary Pitts, MD, is board certified in family medicine and lifestyle medicine. Over more than 30 years in the medical field, he has come to recognize the importance of building strong working relationships with his patients in order to provide the best possible medical care. He believes that each person’s body is created to fulfill a mission, and that preventive health care, proper nutrition, an active lifestyle, adequate sleep, positive interpersonal relationships and stress management are the keys to maintaining good health as each person carries out their journey. A proud graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, he earned his medical degree at the Indiana School of Medicine and carried out his family medicine residency at Fort Wayne, IN. His scope of practice includes prenatal through end-of-life care, with a focus on prevention and chronic disease management.
