David Frederic Elijah, MD

David Elijah, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist with over a decade of experience in hospitals and private practice. Before joining our team, he was a gastroenterologist at AdventHealth Deland for five years and worked another five years within a gastroenterology practice in Tavares, FL. His career also includes service as an emergency room doctor and house physician at hospitals in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area. He is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida, where he obtained his medical degree as well as his residency and fellowship training. He also holds an electrical engineering degree from Rice University in Houston. Dr. Elijah speaks fluent English and French, as well as rudimentary Spanish.
