Biography

Merna Armanious, MD is a cardiologist and cardio-oncologist with board certifications in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, adult echocardiography, and cardiac nuclear medicine. Dr. Armanious provides comprehensive cardiovascular care including non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic stress testing, cardiac imaging, preventative cardiac care, and risk factor identification. She is also uniquely advanced fellowship-trained and certified in cardio-oncology from Moffitt Cancer Center.

Dr. Armanious believes a physician must be multi-faceted and have a grasp on global and local health issues as well as cultural, gender, racial and socioeconomic barriers. With her multicultural background and experience, she strives to break through these barriers here in our community in order to provide the best medical service possible. She provides evidence-based, patient-centered, cardiac care throughout her patients’ diagnosis and treatment journeys. She is also fluent in English and Arabic.
