April Barbara, MSN, APRN, is a board-certified nurse midwife and advanced practice registered nurse with over 12 years of experience in women's health and hospital-based nursing care. April earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Nurse Midwifery and Women’s Health from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. She previously served as a certified nurse midwife with Orlando Health Physician Associates in Orange City and Advanced Women’s Health Specialists in Deltona. Earlier in her career, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at AdventHealth for Women in Orlando and held clinical roles in oncology, medical-surgical and postpartum care at hospitals throughout Central Florida. April is dedicated to providing whole-person care to her patients, considering body, mind and spirit.
