Pink Out Winter Park is back and bigger and better than ever! This unique AdventHealth annual event inspires business and residents throughout Winter Park to adorn yards with bright pink flamingos.
The iconic lawn ornaments are more than just fun; they're saving lives by educating the community about the importance of breast health. Additionally, purchasing a Pink Out Flamingo raises funds for the Winter Park Memorial Hospital Mammography Scholarship Fund to support women who cannot afford screening mammograms or other diagnostic tests.
This vital resource is having a tremendous impact on the community. Since 2011, 180 women have received mammograms through the Fund and six were diagnosed with breast cancer and went on to receive treatment. That is six women and their families whose lives were changed forever thanks to the generosity of the community.
And it's easy to make a difference! For just one $10 donation to the Winter Park Memorial Hospital Mammography Scholarship Fund, you'll get a Pink Out flamingo for your yard and we'll add another to the growing flock of flamingos on Park Avenue and throughout Winter Park, along with a name tag honoring a loved one affected by breast cancer.
Want to save even more lives? Create a social giving page to share your story, honor a loved one or promote breast health awareness to friends and family. Reach your $350 goal and 35 flamingos will be flocked in your honor. We'll send you a commemorative photo that includes a special recognition sign to accompany the flock.
