Vikas Verma, MD, FACC, is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He has been affiliated with AdventHealth for more than a decade and has served as Section Chair of the Department of Cardiology in Altamonte Springs since 2007. An award-winning graduate of the elite All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, he undertook his internship and residency training at SUNY – Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn. Thereafter, Dr. Verma completed a three-year cardiology fellowship followed by a one-year interventional cardiology fellowship at Brown University/Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. He has been in practice as an invasive/interventional cardiologist in Central Florida since 2003.
