Veronica Holbrook, MD

Veronica Holbrook, MD, is a primary care physician, she is board-certified in family medicine and obesity medicine.

She particularly enjoys primary care because of the ability to form long-term relationships with her patients and their families for more personalized care. With its intellectual breadth, primary care also involves a wide variety of problems each day, from starting the workup of a new problem to the long-term management of complex chronic conditions. Dr. Holbrook’s specialties include hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, weight management, contraceptive care, preventive care and urgent care.

Dr. Holbrook received a bachelor's degree in human biology from UC San Diego and a doctorate degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She was a family medicine resident at East Carolina University/Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC, and received online board certification from the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

In her spare time, she enjoys attending church, spending time with her husband and children, exploring the outdoors and cooking.

Dr. Holbrook believes her main role as a primary care physician is to provide expert guidance for her patients and to make well-informed decisions about their health, all underlined with a foundation of a strong patient-doctor relationship of mutual respect and trust.
