Timothy Poate, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine specialist practicing in the Denver area. He sees patients for conditions such as Diabetes, and Chronic Disease Management. He is deeply invested in primary care and strongly believes in the importance of a long-term doctor-patient relationship in a person’s overall health. He enjoys working with patients with complicated medical issues, while also getting to know them as people.
Dr. Poate received his medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, graduating with honors, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado.
When not taking care of patients, Dr. Poate enjoys skiing, backpacking, reading and spending time with his two children and wife.
