Theresa McDevitt, DNP

Theresa McDevitt, DNP, WHNP-BC, is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse specializing in women’s health. She is a highly experienced practitioner with special focus areas including painful periods, PCOS, menopause and pregnancy care.

Theresa received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from St. Olaf College, going on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Minnesota. As part of her practice, she performs IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon insertions and removals, endometrial biopsies, well-woman exams and pap smears.

Theresa is dedicated to ensuring positive experiences for patients. Her goal is to make patients feel respected, and to feel they have a sense of agency and personhood when they are in her exam room.

In her free time, Theresa enjoys running, biking, reading, pickleball, camping, sewing and walks with her partner and their dog.

Theresa sees herself as a partner in her patients’ care. She focuses on improving quality of life and creating a relationship where her patients feel safe, respected and heard.
