Biography

Terasa (Trayci) Prince has been a licensed counselor since 2007 and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado since 2018. She was drawn to the field by a deep commitment to help people feel seen, heard, and respected—especially those from marginalized or underserved communities who may fear stigma or face systemic barriers to care. Trayci received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Family dynamics and Human Development from Arizona State University; and a Master of Arts (MA) in Community Counseling from Northern Arizona University. She also earned a Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) degree from Arizona State University which is a specifically-designed clinical doctorate degree that prepares licensed behavioral health professionals for integration within primary care and medical settings. Trayci treats conditions including but not limited to: Anxiety, depression, panic and mood concerns, acute and chronic stress, adjustment to life phases, trauma-related symptoms, sleep disturbances, grief and loss, relationship and family issues, caregiver burn-out and work-related stress, substance abuse/smoking/nicotine cessation and preventive mental health care. She has also completed basic EMDR training and all of the advanced training and consultation required for certification. Other holistic health trainings include: Nature-based therapy, EFT tapping and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
