Dr. Smith is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and specializes in adult reconstruction. Dr. Smith cares for most lower extremity conditions with a special interest in hip and knee replacement surgery. He also treats patients with failed or infected joint replacements. He was inspired to pursue a career in orthopedics, focusing on joint replacements, after seeing the dramatic improvement in patient's quality of life from both conservative and surgical treatments. He believes in patient-centered approach to orthopedic care. He listens to each patient's unique needs and goals to formulate an individual treatment plan for them.
