Shama Khan, MD

Shama Khan, MD, is board-certified in family medicine. Most recently, she was an Emergency Room physician at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Blu, AR. In addition to her residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences South Central, she has been an inpatient medical extern and has held several internships and trainee positions. Working in family medicine, Dr. Khan appreciates being able to treat all age ranges and both acute and chronic diseases. She also focuses on preventive medicine. She stays up to date on ever-changing guidelines to provide better care for her patients. In her free time, Dr. Khan likes to spend time with her family. She also enjoys cooking, reading, going to the beach, running, hiking, and traveling.
