Drawn to family medicine by its emphasis on holistic care for patients and their families, Sahar Kamel, MD, PhD, provides high quality, compassionate medical care. She focuses on prevention and staying healthy, and wants to empower you to take charge of your own health.
Dr. Kamel earned her medical degree from Cairo University and a doctorate in special studies and reproductive immunology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Kamel also completed her residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Kamel is Board-certified, and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
When Dr. Kamel is not practicing family medicine, she focuses on her own family, spending time with them cooking, watching movies, enjoying music and traveling. She also loves to read and run.
