Sachoya McDonald, MD

Sachoya McDonald, MD, is a board-certified family medicine and obstetrics physician who obtained her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. She completed a residency in family medicine and a fellowship in women’s health, obstetrics, and faculty development at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL.

Dr. McDonald has worked as a hospitalist and in urgent care in Daytona Beach; and has served on the emergency department clinical decision unit. She has extensive research experience and has authored numerous professional publications and presentations.

During her free time she enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking, listening audiobooks or podcasts, learning about new cultures and spending quality time with her family.

Her care philosophy is rooted in providing full-spectrum, patient-centered care that addresses health's physical, emotional, and social aspects. She believes in the importance of continuity of care, to build lasting relationships with patients. Through academic family medicine and obstetrics, she hopes to provide comprehensive, compassionate care across all stages of life.
