Biography

Rania Khan, DO, FACOG, ABOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN. She is a highly experienced practitioner, meeting women’s health care needs across their lifespan. Her areas of focus include routine and high-risk pregnancy, minimally invasive gynecology, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, perimenopause, menopause, prolapses, urinary incontinence and infertility.

Dr. Khan received her medical degree from Michigan State University. She went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. As part of her practice, she performs procedures including robotic hysterectomy, myomectomy, sling surgery, hysteroscopy, sterilization, ectopic pregnancy procedures and cystectomy.

Dr. Khan feels called to care for the community and is fulfilled every day by helping women live their best lives. She is originally from Nairobi, Kenya, and remains active in global health missions where she performs and provides surgical instruction in the third world.

A former River Guide, Dr. Khan enjoys hiking, rock climbing, triathlons and spending time with her children.
