Parkash Bakhtiani, MD, is triple-board certified in internal medicine, obesity medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He specializes in evaluating and treating patients with diabetes, pre-diabetes, obesity, and nutrition and metabolism disorders, as well as those with thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, lipid, bone and mineral, and adrenal disorders, as part of the esteemed AdventHealth endocrinology team in Orlando. Additional specialties include low-testosterone management and treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome. His proven clinical skills and advanced expertise with insulin pumps and glucose sensors are why physicians from across Central Florida frequently recommend him to their patients in need of specialty care. Dr. Bakhtiani earned his medical degree at Chandka Medical College in Pakistan and undertook his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas prior to completing an advanced fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.
