Biography

Nicole Marsden, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse and an integral member of AdventHealth's blood and marrow transplant team. She handles patient consultations and follow-up evaluations for transplant patients with blood and oncological disorders. Nicole began her nursing career as a licensed practical nurse and went on to receive her associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in nursing. During her career she has acquired a wealth of experience in hospital critical care, medical-surgical and other settings. She is a certified family nurse practitioner who also holds a post-doctoral oncology certificate specialized in bone marrow transplant and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.



Awards & Recognition

Nicole Marden is ANCC board certified as a family nurse practitioner and ONCC board certified as a blood and marrow transplant nurse. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University and was a member of the Golden Key Honor Society and the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society. She is currently a member of the Florida Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplant and Oncology of Nursing Society.

Care Philosophy

Nicole believes in the wholistic care model. She devotes adequate time to spend with each patient and treats each person as if there were family, building valuable lasting relationships to aide in the healing process.

Personal Interests

Nicole enjoys spending quality time with her two children, family, and traveling to different countries when time permits.
