Motaz Moussa, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a highly experienced interventional cardiologist with board-certifications in internal medicine, general cardiology and interventional cardiology.
After earning a medical degree from the University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in Egypt, Dr. Moussa completed an internal medicine residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in New York. He then completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at the University of Manitoba and interventional cardiology at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Moussa treats a wide variety of heart conditions and specializes in coronary interventions, aortic aneurysms and heart valve procedures including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), Watchman implants, and patent foramen ovale(PFO) and atrial septal defect(ASD) closures. Dr. Moussa speaks fluent English and Arabic and sees patients ages 18 years and older.
