Mohammed Al Azzawi, MD

Mohammed Al Azzawi, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist with more than nine years of clinical and research experience. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq. He completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at the University of Toledo in Ohio and an internal medicine residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, with an additional residency rotation at Lyons VA Medical Center. His previous clinical roles include internal medicine resident, research collaborator, and observer across prestigious academic and medical centers, including MD Anderson, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Memorial Hermann. He contributes to medical literature through peer-reviewed publications and case reports and enjoys spending time with his family, staying active at the gym, and exploring outdoor activities.
