Mitchell Austin, MD

Mitchell Austin, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist who has been in practice since 1993, working throughout central Florida. He earned his medical degree at the University of Nevada in Reno, Nevada and completed an internship in general surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he also did a residency in otolaryngology. Dr. Austin completed a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Since 2021, he has been in private practice in Tampa, Florida. Also an educator, Dr. Austin served as an assistant professor in the department of otorhinolaryngology at the University of Pennsylvania and a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He is the author of numerous presentations, editorials, book chapters and reviews, and he has written six original papers published in peer-reviewed journals.
