Milagros Fernandez, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon. After receiving her Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Fernandez went on to complete a transplant surgery research fellowship at Auxilio Mutuo Hospital. She later returned to the University of Puerto Rico for a general surgery residency.
A highly experienced clinician, Dr. Fernandez served as a general surgeon in San Juan, Puerto Rico for more than six years. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
