Michael A Stutz, MD

Dr. Stutz has expertise in prostate cancer, treating patients with external beam conformal, as well as intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), and permanent brachytherapy (seed implants). He has authored numerous papers and publications on the subject and has taught courses and given lectures to other physicians. He is also experienced in breast cancer, skin cancer, lung cancer, head and neck cancer, lymphoma and rectal cancer. Dr. Stutz has given lectures to the nursing staff on radiation oncology topics and is a member of the Good Samaritan Cancer Committee. He spends his leisure time raising three young children, as well as playing soccer and tennis.

When asked why he chose Radiation Oncology, he states, "I have found radiation oncology very fulfilling and truly believe that my skills, interests and personality are well matched for this field. I enjoy the relationships that are made which result from really listening to patients and spending time answering questions and explaining risks, options and benefits of their cancer treatments."
