Melissa Zart, MD

Melissa Zart, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN who sees patients in the Denver area for well-woman care, abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, menopause, management of abnormal Pap tests, gynecologic cancer screening, prenatal care, infertility evaluation and treatment of heavy periods.

Dr. Zart recognizes the privilege of being involved in the lives of women and their families at so many different phases of life. She strives to stay on top of current medical guidelines and provide exceptional, compassionate care.

Dr. Zart received her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and her undergraduate degree from Wheaton College. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Ohio State's Mount Carmel Health System. She's a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

In her free time, Dr. Zart likes to spend time with her husband and their six children and keep up with their activities. Her hobbies are playing piano, baking, watching Ohio State football, taking road trips, camping with her family, hiking, and visiting national parks. She has traveled on medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic, Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Dr. Zart is committed to connecting with her patients personally and listening to their goals and perspectives as decisions are made. She treats them like her own family members, being thorough and detail-oriented in her assessments and care plans.
