Melissa Young, PA-C

Melissa Young, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery. She provides care for adult patients at the practice's office at AdventHealth South Overland Park.

Melissa is experienced in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology, including supervising stress tests, and she has been with the practice since 2010. After earning her bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences from Kansas State University, she earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Wichita State University . She is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants. When she's not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons.
