Mariam Mayet-Khan, DO

Mariam Mayet-Khan, DO, is a caring family medicine physician who joined AdventHealth Medical Group from the University of North Carolina/Southeastern Health in Lumberton, NC, where she completed her family medicine residency. While there, she served in multiple leadership roles and was named Family Medicine Resident of the Year. She also served as co-investigator for an important COVID-19 study.

Dr. Mayet-Khan earned her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Mayet-Khan enjoys treating patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors and everyone in between. She is committed to offering both traditional and holistic options to achieve the best possible outcomes that honor each patient’s body, mind and spirit, and she feels she was called to the field of medicine to help others navigate their physical and mental well-being. Her primary goal in her practice is to foster long-lasting physician/patient relationships in order to ensure her patients receive the best care possible.

She is a bilingual provider who speaks English and Urdu.
