Biography

Maria Daniela Rodriguez, MD, is an experienced and board-certified family medicine physician. With a deep respect for family medicine as a whole, Dr. Rodriguez delivers comprehensive care to help her patients feel their best in body, mind and spirit. She is fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, reading and writing).

Dr. Rodriguez earned her medical degree at Universidad del Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and completed her family medicine residency in Centreville, Alabama. She has gained experience in multiple roles across the country, including in Tennessee, where she aided the community during the flood of the Mississippi River in 2011. She worked as a family medicine physician in Memphis, Tennessee, and Tampa, Florida, and has also served around the globe through medical mission trips to Belize and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Rodriguez has co-authored medical articles in respected journals and has presented her research on bacterial vaginosis, rheumatoid arthritis and weight loss. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of multiple medical societies.

When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Rodriguez spends time with her son, who is her life. She also enjoys a good book, interior design and walking and hiking outdoors. She stays centered by practicing mindfulness and Pilates and is also learning Italian and Portuguese in her free time.
