As a lifelong resident of Hardee County, Lauren M. Canary, PA-C, is grateful to serve as a family medicine physician assistant in her hometown. She considers it a blessing to care for her family, friends and neighbors on their quest to be healthy.
Lauren trained at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she earned a bachelors in psychology and a masters in physician assistant studies. Her passions include women's and men's health, as well as helping people manage their acute and chronic diseases.
Lauren is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
When she isn't serving patients, Lauren enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and volunteering in her community.
