Laura Thompson, PA-C

Laura Thompson, PA-C, is a physician assistant who treats hip and knee arthritis and meniscal tears and assists in total hip and knee replacement surgery and knee arthroscopy. She is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life by helping them to return to the activities they love.

Laura earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She holds a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois.

Outside her practice, Laura enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, spending time with family and friends, traveling and cheering her favorite sports teams.

Laura treats all her patients as family. Patient education is extremely important to Laura, and she provides it to help patients understand what to expect throughout their entire course of care. She believes in open dialogue between provider and patient to help make informed decisions with the patient.
