Laura B. Gaffney, MD

Laura B. Gaffney, MD is an internal medicine and pediatric physician in Palm Harbor, Florida. As a primary care doctor, she is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to patients ages 12 and older.

At the core of her practice is an unwavering commitment to offer understanding and attentive care. She strives to get to know each of the patients she sees in her office as individuals. Dr. Gaffney earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School in Detroit, Michigan. After graduation, she completed residencies in internal medicine and pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine. One of the many highlights of Dr. Gaffney’s career was earning the Outstanding Physician Award in 2003 from Indiana University School of Medicine, Division of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.

She is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Now in practice for more than 30 years, she has proven experience in adolescent care, women’s health, geriatric care, mental health management and ADHD management.

As a primary care provider who helps guide patients and families to whole health, Dr. Gaffney understands the importance of physical, mental and spiritual health. She enjoys working up a sweat running and always looks forward to filling her heart during time spent with her family.
