Kristrun Kristinsdottir, MD

Kristrun “Kitty” Kristinsdottir, MD, is an OB/GYN serving all ages in the Parker area. Dr. Kristinsdottir was initially drawn to her field because of a passion for obstetrics, but quickly discovered a love of surgery, gynecologic and reproductive care, and the special bonds she has the chance to form with patients. She is honored to have the opportunity to compassionately care for patients during the highest highs and lowest lows of life.

Dr. Kristinsdottir graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine, Summa Health System. Dr. Kristinsdottir is a member of AdventHealth Parker's Diversity and Inclusion Council, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Kristinsdottir loves to hike (especially with her giant dog, Flynn), ski, travel, cook (and eat), and spend time with family in both Ohio and Iceland. She speaks English and Icelandic.

Dr. Kristinsdottir believes it is a privilege to take care of women throughout all phases of life, and treats patients as she would her own family. Her goal is to make every patient feel comfortable and truly understood, and to offer them the most up-to-date information and individualized care possible.
