Kristine Freyaldenhoven, MD, FACS

Kristine Freyaldenhoven, MD, FACS, is a Board-certified general surgeon and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. She is also a Certified MD Anderson Cancer Network® Provider at the AdventHealth Cancer Center Shawnee Mission.

Dr. Freyaldenhoven grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has lived in Kansas City for more than two decades. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Kansas, where she was part of the University Honors program. She went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma and was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Society for placing in the top 10 percentile of her graduating class.

After moving to Kansas City in 2000, Dr. Freyaldenhoven completed her internship and residency at the University of Kansas Medical School. When she's not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, friends and family.
