Kathleen Dixon, MD

Kathleen Dixon, MD, is a leading team member at AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Oviedo Red Bug. She joined our group from the Florida State University Family Medicine Residency Program at Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL. During her residency she served as chief resident and received the Chief Resident Service Award. She is an honors graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where she received the Best Student Award. She earned her medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. During her residency at Florida State University, she served in multiple leadership roles with a focus on improving patient safety and clinical efficiency. Dr. Dixon has been intensively engaged in community and volunteer service work, including assisting at community health screening events and serving on a medical mission to the Dominican Republic. She specializes in bringing compassionate care to people throughout their lifespan.
