Julie DeVita-Bailey, DO, is a hospice and palliative care physician who sees patients for conditions leading to a six-month life expectancy or less. Dr. DeVita-Bailey believes it’s her life calling to provide hospice care for those at the end of life. She feels blessed to be part of a team that helps hospice patients live every day to its fullest and pass away with dignity and comfort.
Dr. DeVita-Bailey received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif. She completed her internship and a residency in primary care at Long Beach Memorial and completed a geriatrics fellowship at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University Los Angeles.
When not caring for patients, Dr. DeVita-Bailey spends time gardening, hiking and rock hounding.
