Julia Freling, MD

Julia L. Freling, MD is an ob-gyn in Tampa & Wesley Chapel.

She is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist in Tampa, Florida and a current member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. After completing her medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Dr. Freling went on to complete her residency at Hofstra-Northwell School of Medicine. During her training, she was elected as administrative chief resident and awarded the Second Year Teaching Award. She was also recognized as the senior resident showing most promise as an academic generalist.

Dr. Freling believes one of the best aspects of working in obstetrics and gynecology is caring for women throughout all stages of their life. Her special interests include contraception, high-risk obstetrics, and minimally-invasive surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Freling loves to read and exercise. She also enjoys trying new foods and spending time with her family and friends.
