Jose F. Barandiaran, MD

Jose F. Barandiaran, MD, is a transplant physician who earned his medical degree from the Universidad de San Martin de Porres in Lima, Peru. He started his residency in general surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and graduated from Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA. He went on to become an abdominal transplant surgery fellow at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. He continued his training to an advanced living donor laparoscopic surgery fellowship at the same institution. Dr. Barandiaran is the author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts and is fluent in English and Spanish.
