Joel R. Garcia, MS, MD, FACC, FCCP

Joel R. Garcia, MS, MD, FACC, FCCP, is a board-certified cardiologist and internist. Dr. Garcia completed his fellowship in cardiology from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and his areas of skill cover general and invasive cardiology, and advanced heart failure. He is an expert in most cardiac imaging modalities. He holds academic appointments as an assistant professor of medicine at the Florida State University College of Medicine and University of Central Florida College of Medicine, where he received the Educator of the Year award. As past president of the American Heart Association in Orlando, Dr. Garcia shared his passion for cardiovascular health and prevention to champion the health of the community. His hobbies include time with his wife and three boys, drawing, and boating.
