Janet Cruz, MD

Janet Cruz, MD, is a board-certified gynecologic surgeon with advanced expertise in minimally invasive procedures. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Cruz then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the University of California, Riverside, where she also served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Health Sciences and Associate Program Director of the MIGS Fellowship. Dr. Cruz has specialized training in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Committed to global health, she has provided surgical care in underserved communities across Ecuador, Jamaica, and Peru. She is an active member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS).
